BioN

The vision of BioN is to support career opportunities of biomedicine students graduated from Karolinska Institute . The network is a meeting place where students and alumni can exchange experiences and contacts. Within BioN several projects are conducted with the aim to help members increase their competitiveness on a market with intensive knowledge.

The members of BioN consists of both students and alumni. Among the alumni there are graduates from KI’s biomedicine programmes working within both industry and academia. The student members of today (January 2010) are attending KI’s bachelor or master programmes in biomedicine.

BioN accepts members from the following programmes at Karolinska Instititet:

- the earlier Swedish 4-year Master of Medical Science in Biomedicine (graduates from 1999 to 2009)

- the present 3-year Bachelor of Medical Science with a Major in Biomedicine (graduates as from 2010)

- the present 2-year Masters of Medical Science with a Major in Biomedicine (graduates as from 2009)

- the present 2-year Masters of Medical Science with a Major in Bioentrepreneurship (graduates as from 2009)
